Truhlar and Truhlar, L.L.P.
Firm Overview

Our law firm was established in 1985. At the time we set up our firm, there were only the two of us -- Bob and me -- and we handled a variety of legal matters.

Over the years, we have narrowed the areas in which we practice. My side of the practice is limited to domestic relations, child custody, and wills. I also represent children in custody disputes when appointed by the Court to serve as a Child Legal Representative, and also serve as Child and Family Investigator.  I also work on some of Bob's employment cases.

Bob now concentrates his practice entirely in the area of employment law, with an emphasis on discrimination claims. Bob advises clients in regard to their employment contracts and severence agreements, as well as litigating and arbitrating breach of contract claims and discrimination cases. Bob also serves as an arbitrator.

We have two attorneys who are "of counsel."  Debora D. Jones, a 1987 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law, primarily concentrates on family law.  She is also knowledgeable in the area of attorney ethics.  F.J. ("Rick") Dindinger II, a 1997 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law, works in the area of employment law with Bob.

We are a small law firm. We feel that our small size is an advantage to our clients -- it creates an atmosphere for one-on-one contact with the people we are helping. We also pride ourselves on being highly competent and having an excellent reputation in the legal community.

Bob and I both charge for the initial consultation at our regular hourly rate. Our hourly rate is $300. The hourly rate for Rick and Deb is $200.  Paralegal time is billed at $100 per hour.

In addition to being law partners, Bob and I are also life partners, having been married since 1978.
